At Crafty Coffee Company, we roast in small batches to keep your coffee as fresh and flavorful as possible. Our shipping timelines are designed to balance speed with peak freshness, so you get beans that are ready to shine—not stale from sitting on a shelf.
Processing and roasting times

Coffee and tea orders are typically roasted and prepared to ship within 3–5 business days after your order is placed.

Because we roast in small batches, processing times may vary slightly based on roast days, order volume, and product availability.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
For most orders, our goal is that your package arrives within approximately 5–7 business days from the time you place your order, depending on your location and the shipping method selected.

Once your order has been roasted, packed, and handed to the carrier:

Standard shipping from the U.S. to Canada typically takes around 3–10 business days in transit, depending on carrier, service level, and customs clearance.

Standard international shipping to EU destinations can vary, but many orders arrive within approximately 7–21 business days, depending on service level, destination country, and customs clearance.

Under EU consumer rules, sellers generally must deliver within 30 days of purchase unless a different timeframe is agreed; by placing an order with us, you agree to the estimated timeframes described in this policy.

Shipping rates, duties, and taxes

Order tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number whenever tracking is available for your chosen shipping method.

Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours (or longer for international shipments) to appear after the carrier first scans your package.
If your tracking shows “delivered” but you cannot locate your package, please check with household members, neighbors, and your local carrier office first. If you still can’t find it, contact us and we’ll see what we can do.
Freshness and roast scheduling
Because we are a small-batch roaster:

We aim to roast and ship coffee as close to its roast date as practical so it arrives within its ideal flavor window.

We may schedule roasting and shipping on specific days of the week to ensure consistency and freshness.

During periods of extreme heat or cold, we may adjust shipping days (for example, avoiding carrier warehouses over long weekends) to help protect product quality. This may add a small delay, but it helps preserve freshness and flavor.
Lost, delayed, or damaged shipments

If your order is significantly delayed beyond the estimated timeframe, please reach out with your order number and tracking information and we’ll investigate with the carrier.

If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the box, label, and affected items so we can review and help make it right (replacement, refund, or store credit, as appropriate and consistent with our Returns Policy).

Once a package is marked “delivered” by the carrier, risk of loss typically passes to the customer, but we always want to be fair—if something seems off, contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
