Crafty Coffee Company offers small-batch specialty coffees and premium teas sourced from ethical producers around the world. Every product is thoughtfully selected and crafted in partnership with independent artists, farmers, and distributors— people who, like us, believe in the power of their work to connect and uplift others.

Our Story

Hi, we're Christina and Matt Berlin. We founded Crafty Coffee Company to blend our passion for exceptional coffee with a commitment to support our beloved creative community.

As writers and producers based in Los Angeles, we’ve spent years working in the creative industries— an ecosystem fueled by talent, collaboration, and resilience. But we’ve also seen how fragile that ecosystem can be. Natural disasters, industry strikes, corporate consolidation, and shifting global economic forces have all taken a toll on the people who make creative work possible. Our incredibly gifted friends, colleagues, and collaborators have all faced sudden and unpredictable challenges.

Like many in our field, we began to rethink sustainability— not just creatively, but financially. We embraced the idea of “portfolio careers,” building multiple income streams that could support both our work and our community. Crafty Coffee Company emerged from that shift: a way to create something tangible, high-quality, and meaningful, while also giving back to the creative network we’re proud to be part of.

Our Commitment

We believe every purchase should do more than fuel your day—it should help support the people who make our culture vibrant. That’s why we donate 10% of our profits to the Entertainment Community Fund, helping provide essential support to artists and entertainment professionals facing uncertain futures.   From emergency assistance to long-term resources, these contributions help make lives better for community members in need.
